Installation & Warranty

Vehicle-specific fitment. Installation takes about 60–90 minutes with no wire cutting and no programming. One-year warranty. OEM/ODM and regional distribution supported.

What is in the kit

Each unit is supplied as a direct-fit replacement strut with the correct end fittings and motor connector for the listed vehicle. Order left and right as a pair — the two sides are mirror parts and are not interchangeable.

Installation

Replacing a strut is a 15 to 30 minute job. Support the tailgate, disconnect the motor connector, release the ball fittings, fit the new strut and reconnect. No programming, matching or coding is needed — the control module keeps its existing configuration.

Why this application

SUVs and PPVs take both product lines well. The liftgate adds hands-free access to a tailgate that is heavy and often awkward to reach on a lifted vehicle, while running boards help shorter passengers and children get in and out. On this class of vehicle the factory wiring already carries the signals the module needs, which is why no coding is required.

Where this vehicle sells

This application is common in Southeast Asian markets including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, where the vehicle is sold in volume and where accessory demand for electric tailgates and running boards is well established. Kits ship with bilingual warning labels and an English installation manual as standard, which is what local installers and insurers expect.
